WE GOT THE BAND BACK TOGETHER

Bodge Tape Adventures hadn’t met up for a while, and a last-minute WhatsApp chat – mixed with absolutely no prep whatsoever – led to four KTMs heading off on a quick trip to France. We didn’t really have a route, we hadn’t prepared the bikes, and the weather looked rubbish. Things were looking promising! There was apparently a fuel strike in France too. What could possibly go wrong?

SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT

Unusually for Bodge Tape, this trip didn’t involve a lot of dirt and was instead a cultural trip. Saint-Nazaire played a significant role during the Second World War, and we spent our time there exploring the enormous German U-boat pens and learning about Operation Chariot; the story is nuts. We also managed to tour the submarine Espadon, a KTM broke down (obviously), and there was a lot of banter.
