Typically, I embark on my bike adventures, packing a pannier, loading up my bike, and setting off to glamorous destinations like sunny Italy… or not-sunny Wales. However, after Wheels of Morocco‘s company owner Greg reached out, inviting me to join one of their Challenging Roads Tours, I decided to switch things up. Opting for a fly-and-ride experience, I lobbed some essentials into a suitcase, hopped on a plane bound for Marrakech, and made my way down.
Given my previous contributions to Motor Cycle News (MCN), I reached out to them, proposing another piece. The fly-and-ride trend appears to be gaining traction, at least in my circles, so I thought sharing my experience would provide some ADV motivation for fellow motorcycle adventure enthusiasts. They were on board, I scribbled down my thoughts, and a few weeks later, 4 pages of my ramblings graced the feature spot in the paper. If I keep writing for them this frequently, soon I’ll have nothing to talk about!
WATCH THE VIDEO SERIES.
While my forte isn’t exactly the written word, my reputation precedes me in the realm of YouTube videos. Naturally, there’s an accompanying video series for this adventure! I did attempt to keep it brief, but the sheer awesomeness of the trip demanded more. Thus, it turned into a captivating 3-part series. Dive into the article above, watch the series, and drop your feedback in the comments below!
