I was back on the Trail and Adventure Motorbike Podcast, this time for some firm education. What was discussed? Well, in the battle of big bikes vs small bikes, in summary, big bikes rule. That’s the key takeaway. Wandering the trails, attempting to be fuel-efficient on your sub-400cc bike, well, that just paints you as a loser. Riding a Honda CRF? Sorry, but it’s just a bit lame. Complaining about big bikes being heavy? It comes across as a tad weak. So, get out of my inbox.
No, I'm not joking.
Actually I am, a bit, but let’s be real, big bikes do rule. There’s certainly a time and a place for small bikes, but not in this particular podcast episode! In this showdown we were divided into teams, and I had my trusty comrade HP2 Mav by my side. He’s also a big bike w***er, he rides them with skill, and knows his stuff. We engaged in a thorough debate, each team presenting their side of the story, but if I’m being honest, the small bike gang never stood a chance. It was a slaughter.

If you expect me to recall precisely what we discussed, you might be disappointed because I had a few shandies at the time. However, give it a listen and form your own opinion. I’m pretty sure I rambled about the Batike, but that’s about as much as my memory serves. This was my second foray into the TAMP scene, and hopefully they’ll have me back an invitation in the future. they’ll have me back in future. It’s always a right laugh, and a good listen. And for the record, I don’t actually hate Honda CRFs. Just everything they stand for.
