Bruce, the renowned TeapotOne, reached out to me after my name was tossed around by a few folks, inviting me to join him for a  chat on his Bru Time podcast. What’s the setup? Well normally for these things you get a bit of a heads-up of what’s going to be covered, but not in this case! No agenda, just a casual conversation covering a variety of subjects, including our shared passion for bikes, obviously.

Despite spending some time sprucing up my garage for a more aesthetically pleasing backdrop, I inadvertently dialed into the Zoom call an hour late (oops). Nevertheless, once we were both online, we quickly got to it!

I got rather drunk.

While I confess to not being an avid viewer of TeapotOne podcasts on YouTube, I do know that most participants enjoy a few beers during their chats with Bruce. Wanting to join in the tradition, I grabbed some of my favorite beverages (Brewdog) and, let’s say, got rather merry. It was all in good spirits though, as Bruce proved to be a very easy guy to chat with. The conversation flowed, and it genuinely felt like we were casually gobbing off in a pub somewhere.

Our recording session lasted for two hours, and to be honest, there are parts I don’t quite remember. However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I did a good job. The podcast has received positive feedback, which is fantastic. You can check out the episode below:

Thanks Bruce! Really enjoyed it buddy, and if I ever start my own podcast then I’ll have to return the favour. Oh, and you are most definitely coming to ride in the dirt with me sometime soon!

Ciao for now! Ollie.
